Refund Policy
We do not give trials. We give the money back instead - that is a stronger promise, and it is written here.

14 days, full amount
If TrafMate does not fit you, write within 14 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. No explanation is required, and we do not deduct the cost of the installation we did for you.
Why a refund and not a trial
A trial of a self-hosted tracker is easy to abuse: a backup transfers the whole configuration to a new server, so 'new contact, new key, restore' would be an endless free product. A refund gives an honest customer the same protection and gives an abuser nothing.
What is covered
The first payment for a licence. Renewals of an existing licence are not refundable - by then you have used the product for a full period and know what it does. Extra licences bought later for additional installations are treated as first payments in their own right.
How to ask
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the cabinet account, and name the licence key. We do not require a reason. We answer within two business days and send the money within five business days of agreeing the refund.
How the money comes back
Payment is taken in cryptocurrency, so the refund goes back in cryptocurrency, on the same network, to the address the payment came from. If that payment came from an exchange or another custodial wallet, sending it back there can lose it - in that case write from the email on your cabinet account, name the licence key, and give us an address of your own. A refund never goes to a third party. The amount refunded is the amount you paid in US dollars, converted at the rate on the day the refund is sent. Network fees for the transfer are deducted - they go to the network, not to us.
When we refuse
Two cases. The licence was terminated for a breach of the acceptable use policy. Or we are asked to send the money somewhere it did not come from - a wallet that is not yours, or the difference on an overpayment returned as its own transfer. Money goes back the way it came. We are not a route for moving funds between wallets.
After a refund
The licence is switched off and the software stops routing traffic. Your data stays where it always was - on your own server - and we neither collect nor delete it.
